Site Assessment and Selection

At JDP, we employ a robust and comprehensive clinical trial site selection process to help clients select from an array of eligible research sites capable of conducting specific clinical studies. We select sites with adequate experience, staff, facilities, and patients to successfully conduct the study. We work with our sponsors to review the interested investigators and shortlist sites for pre-study qualification. Eligible sites undergo formal Site Qualification Visits to confirm their feasibility for study participation. We also again identify potential site and regulatory challenges and perform risk assessment to mitigate them.

We also recognize that the success of your clinical studies depends on your choice of clinical sites. We have a track record of successfully locating and choosing high-performing locations that can fulfill recruitment goals, provide high-quality data, and abide by moral and legal obligations. We make use of both relationship-based and data-driven strategies to find the study sites that best meet your goals and study procedure.

To find possible sites that meet your criteria, we consult a variety of external sources of information, in addition to our unique database of thousands of sites spread throughout different therapeutic areas and regions. Based on past and current data, we also assess the sites’ performance, viability, and capabilities using artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.

We choose the sites that are most appropriate and motivated for your study by utilizing our well-established network of site contacts and our local presence in more than 50 countries. To evaluate the staff, patient population, infrastructure, and experience of the facilities, we perform surveys, interviews, and site visits. In order to verify the communities’ commitment to and preparedness for the study, we also interact with the sites.

We make certain that the sites we have chosen abide by applicable legislation and norms, as well as good clinical practice (GCP). In order to keep an eye on the caliber and accuracy of the websites and the data they contain, we also regularly audit and inspect them. We give the sites support and training so they may overcome obstacles and perform better.

We believe that our site assessment and selection service is a key factor for the timely and cost-effective completion of your clinical trials. We are proud of our site assessment and selection service and its capabilities, and we invite you to learn more about how our site assessment and selection service can benefit you and your study.
